Architectural Document Reviewer
Harrisburg, PA | Hybrid Schedule (2 Days Onsite / 3 Days Remote) | Full-Time |
A respected statewide housing and community development organization is seeking a Architectural Document Reviewer to support the review and evaluation of multifamily housing development projects throughout Pennsylvania.
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals looking to build a career in architecture, construction management, project review, affordable housing development, and construction administration. Experienced professionals are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents for multifamily housing developments
- Evaluate project submissions for completeness, quality, and compliance with program requirements
- Review construction scopes, development plans, and project documentation
- Coordinate with developers, architects, consultants, and construction professionals throughout the review process
- Conduct project site visits and inspections as needed
- Prepare written comments, reports, and recommendations
- Support the development, rehabilitation, and preservation of housing projects across Pennsylvania
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Building Science, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience related to architecture, construction, housing development, project management, or plan review
- Familiarity with multifamily housing, rehabilitation, renovation, or new construction projects
- Experience reviewing construction documents, plans, specifications, or development submissions
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time position
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days onsite in Harrisburg, PA and 3 days remote
