Are you an architecture, construction, or design professional who enjoys analyzing projects, reviewing plans, and solving complex construction challenges?
We are seeking a Construction Document Reviewer to support the review and evaluation of multifamily housing development projects. This role combines architectural plan review, construction document analysis, project cost evaluation, and collaboration with development teams to ensure projects are complete, accurate, and compliant before construction begins.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with architectural, construction management, project coordination, or design review experience who are looking to move beyond daily design production and into a more analytical, project-focused role.
Key Responsibilities
• Review architectural drawings, site plans, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards.
• Prepare written comments and recommendations for architects, developers, engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Verify that approved project features and development commitments are accurately reflected in construction documents.
• Participate in project review teams and provide technical analysis throughout the development process.
• Evaluate construction costs, project budgets, and supporting documentation for reasonableness and completeness.
• Identify potential gaps, inconsistencies, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Review and evaluate change orders and design modifications during construction.
• Conduct site visits as needed to verify existing conditions and support project reviews.
• Track project comments, collaborate on resolutions, and support projects through closing and construction milestones.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in architecture, construction, project coordination, design review, or related disciplines.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, detailing, and building systems.
• Understanding of architectural contract documents and project coordination processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to provide clear and actionable technical feedback.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in architecture, construction, project coordination, design review, or related disciplines.
