Customer Service Representative – Provider Services (Immediate Hiring)
Location: Remote (Must reside in Pennsylvania within driving distance of Harrisburg, PA)

Abel Personnel is actively hiring Remote Customer Service Representatives – Provider Services for an immediate need. This is a work-from-home opportunity with company-provided equipment. Candidates must be based in Pennsylvania and able to report onsite to the Harrisburg area when requested.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy supporting healthcare providers, resolving issues, and delivering a high level of customer service in a structured environment.
Position Overview
The primary function of this role is to support provider services by interacting with customers and healthcare providers to deliver accurate information, resolve issues, and ensure a positive service experience. Representatives will handle a mix of inbound and outbound communication related to services, billing, and general inquiries, working toward timely and effective resolution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and healthcare providers regarding services, billing, and account-related questions
  • Resolve service or billing complaints by determining the issue and offering appropriate solutions, including adjustments or corrections
  • Contact customers and providers to provide updates on inquiries, investigations, or account changes
  • Escalate unresolved provider or customer concerns to appropriate departments for further review
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, and resolutions
  • Document all activities clearly within internal systems
  • Meet established service, quality, and productivity expectations
Qualifications
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • 0–2 years of customer service experience (provider services, call center, or healthcare environment preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable navigating computer systems and data entry platforms (e.g., MS Outlook)
  • Must reside in Pennsylvania within commuting distance of Harrisburg, PA
  • Ability to report onsite when requested
