This position is a safety consultant to the Department of General Services (DGS) in Harrisburg, PA.
Must reside in Pennsylvania and be within one hour of Harrisburg.
Salary: $58,000 – $65,000 with full benefits and excellent PTO.

We are seeking a Health & Safety Consultant to support statewide workplace safety initiatives. This role requires being onsite in Harrisburg five days a week during the training period, with hybrid flexibility available after training is complete.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs.
- Conduct Accident & Illness Prevention Program (AIPP) reviews and compliance audits.
- Analyze safety data, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support injury prevention, industrial hygiene, and safety compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with employees and leadership to strengthen safety culture.
Qualifications:
- AIPP certification required, or at least two years of occupational safety experience and currently working toward AIPP certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
