NET Developer (React / .NET Core) 

Join a Mission-Driven Development Team Are you an expert in .NET Core and React who takes pride in writing clean, scalable code? We are hiring a .NET Developer for a direct hire position with our client.In this role, you will be a key contributor to high-quality solutions for the PA Department of Human Services, working within a collaborative environment that values technical excellence and professional growth.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: $82,000 annually.
  • Benefits: Full, comprehensive benefits package included.
  • Work Environment: Remote-first flexibility with periodic on-site collaboration.
Geographic and Travel Requirements (Mandatory)
  • Hiring Region: Candidates must currently reside in PA, MD, VA, WV, or NJ. Relocation assistance is not available.
  • Travel: You must be able to travel on-site to Harrisburg, PA, once per quarter for in-person team meetings.
  • Preference: Residents of PA or those within a 2-4 hour drive of Harrisburg will be given priority consideration .
  • Availability: Must be video-capable and available during standard EST business hours.

  • NET with React: Advanced proficiency.
  • API Programming: Advanced proficiency.
  • Git Version Control (VCS): Advanced proficiency.
  • PostgreSQL: Advanced proficiency..
Primary Responsibilities
  • Advanced Development: Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable web applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
  • UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate complex wireframes into functional, high-quality websites and applications.
  • Code Integrity: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while performing rigorous code reviews to ensure consistency across the team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Optimize application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and suggest new tools or techniques to enhance the development lifecycle.
  • Leadership: Mentor junior developers to foster a culture of growth and shared technical knowledge.
