Abel Personnel is seeking a Recruiter who combines strong people skills with sound business judgment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys evaluating talent, building relationships, solving hiring challenges, and helping organizations hire exceptional employees.

What You'll Do
- Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities
- Review resumes to identify relevant experience, transferable skills, career progression, and employment stability
- Conduct in-depth phone screens, interviews, reference checks, and candidate assessments
- Evaluate candidates based on qualifications, work history, professionalism, communication skills, work ethic, and overall fit
- Present well-vetted candidates who meet client expectations and position requirements
- Build relationships with candidates while maintaining high hiring standards
- Manage multiple open positions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Handle employee relations matters including attendance concerns, performance issues, coaching conversations, and assignment follow-up
- Maintain accurate documentation within the applicant tracking system
- Partner with clients and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and deliver talent solutions
- Meet recruiting, interviewing, and placement goals while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications
- Recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, human resources, employee relations, management, sales, customer service, workforce development, or related experience preferred
- Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to assess talent and make sound hiring recommendations
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
