Duties and Responsibilities
Temporary personnel will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to:
- Answering live calls on the HIC HelpLine and directing calls to the appropriate party
- Providing assistance to consumers and contractors via phone and email using various databases (Contractor and PM systems)
- Retrieving voicemails and providing assistance by returning calls or forwarding messages to appropriate staff
- Opening, logging, scanning, and distributing daily mail, including date stamping and document indexing
- Sending correspondence and legal documents via email, regular mail, certified mail, or UPS
- Opening and closing files and maintaining accurate records
- Performing data entry and document management using computers and electronic scanning equipment
- Filing, copying, and maintaining documents in an orderly and safeguarded manner
- Picking up deliveries from the mailroom, as applicable
- Assisting the team with administrative projects as needed
- Taking proper care of and maintaining office equipment
- Performing related clerical and administrative work as required

- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate networks and electronic files
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and organization
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates initiative, works independently, and is dependable
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information
Work Schedule & Assignment Details
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 3-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension
