Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure the accuracy of transactions.
- Maintain a spread sheet to track the original Notes received from the warehouse lenders.
- Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Process payroll
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Prior experience with general bookkeeping, Account Reconciliation, Receivable & Payable
- Strong and demonstrable Microsoft Office skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
- Quick learner, self-starter, creative problem solver, able to thrive in fast-paced growth environment
